There are various organisations within Canada that administer scholarship programs but they are usually for graduate students and professors who are studying or researching a specific subject; Canadian studies is a typical area for which scholarships are awarded.  Students should also check within their home country through public and private organisations for any financial assistance they may provide to students looking to study abroad.

Canadian International Development Agency Scholarships
Several scholarships are available to students wishing to complete their studies in Canada.

International Council for Canadian Studies 
Several awards are offered for internships,  graduate, and post graduate research on Canada.

International Development Research Centre (IDRC) Funding
IDRC funds research activities that are designed to provide direct benefits to developing countries and their citizens.

International Scholarship Programs for Study in Canada
The Government of Canada offers awards to foreign students for study in Canada.

Ontario Graduate Scholarship Program (OGS)
This program is designed to encourage excellence in graduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels.

Quebec Exemption from Differential Tuition Fees
